How often do I use it?

How does red light help a blocked nose?
The lining inside the nose swells and the airway narrows. Red light at 650nm, delivered on that lining, calms the swelling over days and weeks instead of forcing it open for an hour. It's the same red light people use on skin and hair, aimed at a different bit of you.
Is it FDA-cleared?
Vantrel Lumen is a general wellness device, not a medical device, so it isn't FDA-cleared. It is certified to FCC, CE and RoHS safety standards, runs at a low 5 mW and switches itself off at twenty minutes.
Will it fit smaller nostrils?
Two soft sleeves rest at the opening of each nostril, no deeper. They are made for adult noses and don't need to go further in: the light reaches the lining from the base of each sleeve.
Will it fix a deviated septum or nasal polyps?
No. It works on a swollen lining, not on the shape of the nose. A deviated septum or polyps is one for your doctor.
Can I use it with my spray, or on CPAP?

Can children use it?

How do I clean and charge it?
Slide the sleeves off, rinse them, and let them dry before the next session. The device charges over USB with the magnetic cable in about thirty minutes and a charge lasts around four hours of sessions.
